I may be THE Carmen McRae fan in this world. I have been a fan since I first heard her in 1960 in a funky club in Newport, Rhode Island. To my great fortune, I later became a close friend. I remember the first time she told me, in her kitchen in Beverly Hills, how much she loved Djavan. She had a big poster somewhere in her house to prove it. I am delighted beyond words to find out that YouTune has treasures like this. Ashton Spann

@MsJollycholly Foi no Free Jazz Festival de 1991, no dia 21 de setembro de 1991 no Teatro do Hotel Nacional (Rio de Janeiro). A TV foi a extinta TV Manchete. Abraços.

OMG - thank you pauloGoncalo for this treasure. This is the trio of the Gods! Carmen, Djavan and Dori...........I have always LOVED Carmen McCrae but I never got a chance to see her partnered with other great singers/composers. HERE, we saw and heard that. Was this a TV sho in Brasil? When?
