Having the U.S. Animated Megatron in my collection, I can probably answer some of your questions about the quality control:
- Mine came with a rather deep scratch on the right foot. Matching the red paint on that will be a PITA. So the scratches on yours is nothing compare to mine.
- I noticed that when you spun the helicopter blades, there was a clicking noise. That's not supposed to happen.

FYI you can push the cockpit further back behind Meg's head so it doesn't stick out as much in Robot mode. I made the same mistake for a while so just passing it on.
