  • with your left hand do u find it more helpful to put it on the beam beside your head or under the beam?

    Kind of both, like you keep up fingers underneath the beam and then your palm on the side of the beam.

  • hey musiclove156 i kept falling off too what i did was grab the beam tightly and dont let go until your feet touch the beam. then make sure you push really hard off your shoulders.

    that is exactly what i do too. You really have to hold on tight to the beam and keep my muscles tense.

  • why would you put that in your beam routine? you just run the risk of falling off and reciving deductions for stupid skills that you don't even need to compete.

    Because i like being creative with my routines and having fun..im not worried about falling off or anything, go worry about your own routines :)

  • somehow i think that a forward roll on beam is harder than a cartwheel on beam...LOL

  • that was a good backward roll. im trying to do one too but i also fall off at the end. lol any tips?
