Were the oil contaminated when you drained them?

What brand of track and switches are you using

Very enjoyable video. really realistic speed of the train, and it runs so smoothly it is a pleasure to watch. have added to the layout since the last posting??

Nice to hear that there's someone else who isn't a railroad "techhie." People try to make me feel like I'm from the stone age, running straight DC with blocks. Keep it simple works just fine for me.

Great layout man great work great track plan-- the thing that got me... how the hell do you see?! lol
rancocaskid...I never think that far ahead or actually operate that technically. It is just a nice place to run some fairly long trains. I will put my Atlas O signals back up sometime in the future...but, largely, for decoration and to add color to what's going on...I don't have the mind to figure all that technical signaling stuff out.
Thanks for your comments.

Must cost you a bomb for all those engines

It is a sickness, a fever, or whatever you want to call it. Right now, I am going through a phase that makes me add all that up and say, "why?" I have trains in boxes that have not yet been run...and...that makes no sense...unless I don't intend to buy anything in the very near future...and...I don't...but, when the fever hits...I go out of control...ever-so-slightly.

One nice rail road! How about a ride using some or lots of the crossover's!

Indycar 101...Thanks for the compliment. I agree, I need to do a video that "runs" from the outside loop to the inside and, then, up to the higher level.
I will do that in the near future.

Yes, it is in a 3-car garage in California. The layout platform is suspended from the ceiling...6 feet, 2 inches from the floor. I am attempting to make it as much a "hi-rail" layout as possible. I suppose true model railroaders really go for the scenery and I don't. I just wanted a place to run "long" trains using as much "scale" equipment as possible.
