Sometimes when you are in a miserable job...you tend to want to vent your frustration often to 'trusted' co-workers or loved ones...it comes to a point that it drives them nuts but what can you do? With the high unemployment, you need to keep your job for now. You need a little humor such as books that might understand your issues. Try reading "Never Work for a Jerk" by Patricia King or "Don't Sweat the small stuff at work" by Richard Carlson, Phd. It could help.

I work in a daycare and I love the children but I hate my job. I have to deal with director who have her favorites and the women are so messy. It's only one woman but the director does nothing about her but she gets on me about things the other worker lied to her about. Soon as I find another job, I'm leaving without notice.

Does anyone besides me see the resemblance between that guy and George Clooney??

I loved my previous job as site mgr. I spent time outdoors and in an office. Talking w/ workers, learning, working long hours somedays, but that was fine because 1.5x overtime pay. Got laid off when the economy went south. Now, I'm back to mech designer and hate it. Sitting in front of a PC for 10 to 12 hrs a day. No intereaction w/ others, salary (no overtime), no good benifits, just come in do my job and go home. I HATE THIS!!!

I hate my job because i hardly do anything and i am not aloud to even read a book on down time. No cares about who i am and then they say that i am mean. I don't like to talk anymore because I am tired of people laughing or making fun of me when I dont understand what they are saying. I feel I have no future whereever I go but no one cares. I have to live too just becuase I am diffrent and am not that humorous or excited all the time does not make me a bad person.
I honestly loathe my job beyond comprehension. Every day I'm there I hate it more and more. The environment, the attitude, the very work I'm doing; I detest it all like a sickness. The bottle's the only thing that makes me forget how much I hate it, and even then I can only escape for so long.
One of these days I'm going to burn that place to the ground. A bit extreme? Perhaps. But that's how much I hate it.
