Fundraising dinner for Gaza at Hilton Bellshill

Around £90,000 was collected for the Gaza humanitarian crisis on Wednesday 14th Jan for a fund-raiser organised by the
charity Islamic Relief and volunteers from Lanarkshire Mosque. The event took place at Bellshill Hilton and was attended
by 260 guests who donated generously for the cause.

Politicians who provided their views on the conflict included MPs Prominent speakers from the
Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths were also represented in a show of solidarity for the people of Gaza.

The funds are to be used to supply much needed baby incubators, hospital beds and essential food and water supplies to
the war torn region.
