A dog stands loyally by her friend who was seriously injured by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in Sendai. This loyal buddy won't give up on her injured mate.

  • Animals have an instinct different from humans, it's a reaction called fight or fly. We as humans have the ability of speech. As to any pet/animal, there is learned behavior, such as if a dog belonged to a caring owner, its instinct switches from fight or fly to complete submission of caring and protecting. Absolutely nothing wrong on caring for the defenseless pets left behind when people and children are suffering as well. Bottom line, you don't know what it's to love a pet until you have one

Yeah I Understand your feeling, a Dog will never betray us. A human in this case, for the most situation will already leave his friend behind.

I saw a video before this one that nearly makes drop a few tears ( even if I'm a Guy and have a dog ). Rescuers ( look like saints, I think, I'll do same ) save a Dog 3 weeks after the Tsunami, hopefully for the Dog, there is an another video showing him reunited with his owner ( search for it on Youtube ). Lucky Smart Dog

  • @Syusuke7777 So it is Syu.I love and care for animals.I also see humans killing, suffering and waiting to die everyday. Somehow it seems that our own species has it worse and we are aware of it.Our capacity for cruelty is far greater than other animals as well.

A life is a life, no matter it's a Dog or a Human.

  • @igaunameow4 I love dogs, but ESO is right. Its stupid to give dogs much concern or aid when people are dying everyday. What next ? You will let your momma die to save your ferret ? BTW animals suffer, but they don't anticipate or fear passing away like humans.Think about that, will you ?

  • @ESOTERICALADEPT Today CNN 's Anderson Cooper is 'concerned as to if the Japanese are giving enough resources to save the dogs in the radiation zone'. Sure they should send in more troops and volunteers for the dogs while the elderly and babies are dying in freezing shelters. We lost our common sense and respect for human life a long time ago in the US.This is just another sign of that.
