Normally hate to get into the controversy of how Asians raise their kids. Historically in China there were many poor peasants. The way to get ahead was to educate yourself, take the official state examination and join the civil service (like getting a government job). There was always the incentive to be well-educated.
Western parents tend to give kids some leeway to make life choices. Asian parents tend to feel it is their responsibility to make sure kids succeed in life...

He is my classemate, He is now 15 years old. Last time he played Vivaldi :DD I dont like classic music but he is amazing. If you mail me i can please him to play new songs :DDD He's name is Eugene :D

I love how all the comments on white violin virtuosos are all pretty and filled with flowers while the ones on the Asian virtuoso-videos are packed to the brim about "pushed children", "emotionless and forced by parents", and "good technique but does not play the piece with interpretation."
That being said, this video is amazing for any age, especially at such a young age that Eugene is at right now. :)
