I'm going to college right now and working part time as a dental assistant. Does anyone know if when I'm applying for med school It's good to put working as a dental assistant good for the admissions?
@batmanpronz Yes, I'm aware of that. That was my point. However, some schools (such as mine) offer majors such as Biomedical Sciences which are the closest thing to a pre-med major. My point was that any major will do as long as the required courses are met.
@batmanpronz well i think they actually do exist at some schools...just not most schools. It might not really be a major but you declare yourself premed and you dont declare a major

@MGKYA A pre med major does not exist. There are merely pre-med students who take required classes.
