Awesome!

Fasch was a baroque titan. Those Northern Germans could really compose!
-
Fasch is just another forgotten giant of the baroque, shame, fine music only lives trought the hearths of the true music lovers; lets keep this beautiful pieces alive for the sake of art!
-
Much of his works were lost.
-
Very good and listenable music.

I have no idea. He was one of the great german composers of the late Baroque along side Telemann and Bach.

Bach is so well remembered! Although I adore Bach, his contemporaries like Fasch, Rameau, et al. are so infrequently heard anymore!

I know it is such a shame. That's why I'm making a point of searching for more music of the three forgotten German masters of the baroque: Fasch, Graupner, and Hasse.
