  • There are only two dedicated helicopter air ambulances left in the Southern part of BC. Both of them are in Vancouver International Airport. One is dedicated to the Infant Transport Team and the other Critical Care Transport. Helijet uses a Twin Star as a spare if a third ambulance is needed or if one of the S-76 is in repair or overhaul.

The other dedicated helicopter is located in Prince Rupert. And that one is a Bell 222.

  • This could have been a spare aircraft while the others are under maintenance. It could also be the new paint scheme from Helijet to cut cost. Who knows?!

  • and for this one in the video ^^ Helijet offered to paint the heli for free.

so thats y this one has that paint color.

  • they have many diffrent airambulances in vancouver, the main one "with the red stripe" is over at vancouver international, and th secondary one "this one^^" is located at van. general, there is also a third over in squamish.

  • Is this a new helicopter? Where's the red stripe on this one? I think I saw this one landing while driving past YVR last month.
