All the nay sayers should keep quiet for a second and think. You should be supporting an american company and an emerging tech that hasn't had the years of development time and multi billion dollar companies supporting it. Besides its cheap to run, little maintenance, light weight. As soon as the battery develops over the next 5-10 years charge times will be nearer half an hour and ranges over a hundred miles per charge, with speeds surely to increase over 100mph, then zero bikes will laugh

i'm from holland, and i just read in the newspaper that some cities buy electric off road bikes to take down the illigal motocross in quiet areas, they hardly make sound, and no toxic fumes either. so i think it's a pretty good solution, also for the dirtbikers. in my country for instance, many motocrosscircuits are closed just because they wanna built a couple of houses near by, if everybody has a dirtbike that's electric, it wouldn't matter anymore because there almost no sound!

Its a fucking bicycle with a battery pack. Fuck that. Ill enjoy polluting the air with my 350 4 Stroke Dual Sport. Never will I buy this. When the battery dies is day over. When a gas bike runs dry you just get more gas. No sound is actually dangerous of you think about it. What if your riding in the woods and you come out of a trail and smash into another rider who came out of another trail?? Sound actually helps..

Petro still kicks butt in energy to weight ratios over batteries. But my hat is off to the people who are laying the ground work for what is our inevitable future. As for this comparison, at 125 lbs. Shouldn't they be comparing it to a smaller MX bike?

uh i ride a yz450f and unless this zero bike pulls wheelies at 65mph i dont want it. 36' jump my little sister jumps that far on her crf100 hahahahahahahahah. pretty cool though. i just wouldnt buy one
