pure horsepower and torque, period. I saw a tractor pull years ago and 1 tractor had a WWII aircraft v-12 engine on it. The low toned roar was incredible, it easily outpulled tractors with 4 big block v-8's.

That might not be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat but the Merlin can certainly make a magical sound.

The Griffon was awsome but nothing can beat the sound of a Merlin. Its the finest engine ever made!

@axewolfjack i belive the bearcat may of saw action in korea but the french used it in the war in Vietnam in the 50s i may be wrong
