  • The car on the street, another replica?

I seen on flEBAY a few years ago, the original '90 Ford Crown Vic that was used in the movie.. believe it sold for 25000.. got pics around here of it somewhere

  • @WPGinterceptor Yup, I've got a replica from each movie; that's my BB2K car, been driving her since 2005! More pictures of both in my Flickr account, search for Bismo Beerbelly. (YT won't let me put links here.) I do remember seeing the filming Crown Vic a while back too! - Bis

  • @BismoBeerbelly

Are these replicas real Police Package Vehicles?

  • @WPGinterceptor Sadly no... though don't tell anyone! Actually, the Ford is a former fire chief's car, so it IS a police package but with the 302 engine rather than the 351. The Dodge was strictly civilian with a 2BBL 360, but give me a couple of years and I am hoping at some time in the future to get the suspension etc upgraded, then I can think about dropping a 440 in. Far future though for tho$e projects.

  • @BismoBeerbelly HUGE DIFFERANCE from a civilan model to the Police package model!

Suspension.. 1500+ more welds on the frame! engine, bla bla

    Check out my my vids

  • @WPGinterceptor Love 'em! Yeah, we had a '74 Monaco Bluesmobile back in the 80's that also started out as a civvy, but we bought a used '74 Fury cruiser and transplanted everything over... suspension parts, instrument cluster, the 440 (especially the 440!) etc. No extra welds but boy could she haul ass when we were done!

  • @chicagobdr529 Thanks, John! Was a long road back but we're pretty damned happy, needless to say! And now we'll have something to drive YOU around in if you ever get out this way to visit!

  • Glad to see the Bismo and Shotgun are back behind a Dodge Monaco, the car looks great!
