  • No Way Dude! This game gets 5 stars! It was a cutting edge game at the time and as close to robotech as it got! Wished you would have played more. Forgot what level I could get to, but I would play this for hours, and I think you can play two players on this game and both robots interlock when combined. One player controls the direction, the other fires. Very Cool Game! Thanks for the Posting!

  • that does sound cool and yea I do remember there were like no games that even resembled Robotech back in the day... so this might find its way into a series of videos im going to eventually do called "a 2nd look", where if people disagree and request a 2nd look with a good arguement, I'll do so, and it looks like your the 1st

  • @JasonLee215 simple, yet addicting game. I love the music in this game (CD2 version is better), and the game gives you adrenaline rush in the later levels. Unfortunately, it's a easy game to finish, and i wish there was a hard mode.

  • This game is awesome and deserves a better rating.

  • This game and others from those years are coming out again in compilations for the ps2, I have the capcom Vol2 and this game, Avengers, Speed Rumbler, the first street fighter and others come in the same disc

  • Damn you good

  • I don't recognise the graphics of the city at the bottom of the screen just after it starts o.0 The music and sound effects are completely different to the arcade version too! What version is this ???

  • Pause it, and you'll see Zaku from Gundam.

  • Geto,

I owned a Genesis & a TG-16 back in the late 80s, early 90s.. and this game Sidearms was essentially the same as 'Forgotten Worlds' which came out in the same era as for the Genesis

I think Forgotten Worlds dropped a little earlier, and Sidearms lifted a lot of the elements from it (?)

From what I remember, Forgotten Worlds had a second player option, which made a little more attractive than 'Sidearms'

    peace.

  • hell i still do play this game it is awesome i also play keith courage and parasol stars on the originol turbo grafx

  • This game was the shit. I loved that it only got harder and hand eye coordination was monumental if you were to beat this game...

  • Like you said, "THIS IS PRETTY BAD ASS!"
