Alex Cabrera hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the seventh
inning as Orix stretched its unbeaten streak, including a tie, to
four games with a victory over Rakuten at Kleenex Stadium.

Cabrera, who went 4-for-5 with five RBIs on the night, connected
for his 17th homer of the season after Ikki Shimamura tied the game
with a run-scoring single in the sixth. Tuffy Rhodes also went
4-for-5 while driving in a run.

Akio Shimizu (2-0) got the win with two innings of perfect
relief and Daisuke Kato earned his 18th save. Reliever Koki Watanabe
(0-2) took the loss after giving up two runs in two-thirds of an
inning.
