@sciath Latino is used to mean the same thing as Hispanic in the USA which simply means that one comes from a Spanish speaking country. People who are Hispanic/Latino can be of any race. And African, Native American, and European(Spanish) are the base roots of so called Hispanics/Latinos!

Latino, recent U.S. category invented to define peoples living in or migrated from countries in this hemisphere that were once under the rule of Spain. It has nothing to do with DNA (origins can be from Asia, Africa, North, Central, or South America, and Islands off the Atlantic coast of the Americas. For instance people from the Domican Republic (Spain) are classified as Latino while people living on the same island in the country of Haiti (France) are not.

Latino is not a race. Latino refers to anything of spanish descent and it also refers to the mixing of the natives and european spanish. So under your definition "latino complexion" can be anything from dark brown to snow white.
