Acei Spawn.wmv

2 of my Yellow Tail Acei spawning in my 75 G Lake Malawi Cichlid tank. Watch for white eggs around the 2:40 - 2:45 window and the 4:35 - 4:45 window. Acei are mouth brooders. She lays them and scoops them up in her mouth during/after fertilization. Towards then end of the video you can see her chin begin to bulge from the eggs she will crry for nearly 4 weeks (without eating!). She wil carry 20 - 30 eggs during this time.
