Apple's new 27-inch iMac features a beautiful LED-backlit IPS display, which takes resolution beyond 1080p all the way up to 2650 x 1440. The next generation also introduces Intel's high powered Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, and full-power desktop versions of ATI's Radeon HD graphics cards. The option to add both a solid-state-drive and conventional magnetic drive can drastically improve boot-time and overall performance, while leaving a full terabyte or more for bulk storage.

  • Saved over a year for one of this things.

    Hope it is worth it.

  • The magic mouse is great I don't like the magic. Trackpad there really bad that's my opinion

  • I am by no means an Apple iSheep... but I have to give credit where its due. I have been a diehard PC/Windows fan for the last 15 years. Have never owned a Mac computer or any Mac products, with the exception of the iPod touch. After spending several thousand dollars on five PCs in the last six years and all have broken randomly, I finally took the plunge and bought the 27" iMac the other day. The boot time really does slaughter Windows, def less than 20 secs for me. I really love this machine!

  • @chandlerfrye4 Lol you are one stupid son of a bitch you know that? Windows don't make processors, its Intel and AMD. Another thing is PC will always be faster no matter what because we get to choose a handful of components to place in it. For a 2000 dollar budget, PC can kick iMac's ass no problem. Oh and about viruses, petty little things.

  • @chandlerfrye4 Don´t be stupid, you are really a stupid guy that compare a company of software against a company that produce machines and software... hahaha, dumb ass

  • Man, considering what you get the iMac is not a bad deal at all. A display that normally cost $900 and a really fast computer, also the awesomeness of osx, you get a really good machine!

  • @ThePetikex Also the iMac is the video card in this case, it has the gpu inside.

  • @ThePetikex Your just a hater. Now its i7, up to 16gb of ram, and a 6970m(Its not really a mobility card, its really the desktop version but its soldered onto the motherboard like a laptop)

  • @Treychance0525 No, it draws power from another universe, thats why its so thick....

  • does an imac have the actual computer built in ?
