@PSneakysound You are right. You have to play the surface and Fed does this often on clay to those guys that sit way beyond the baseline. The ball just dies on clay.

@raikahoken Because returning a big serve is tough. And I guess many pros would have been on the ball, but Del Potro is 2m high, so he has quite some problems to move. I think Nadal would have catched it.

And Fed only does this on clay, where the ball bounces lower than on hard courts.

The way Djokovic is playing now I think will eclipse Federer at his best, especially if he beats nadal to win the french, something fed could never do even when nadal wasn't in his prime years
