I must say that this is one of the best versions of my national anthem I have ever listened to in my life, despite that it's not sung by an American such as myself. Unfortunately, too many people in my home country rely too much on pop and rock stars to sing this song at games and other events instead of classically trained singers or choirs (as many other countries do). God bless Helmut Lotti for being able to sing my anthem without obviously trying to show how long he can hold some notes.

Helmut Lotti is a belgian singer who started in an playback contest as elvis when he was only 16 years and since then he is succesful in man counrtrys all over the world he also sings in very different languages an d we the people in Belgium ( flanders) are proud to hav ehim

@MizzKittyBichon You got that right!! I'm really tired of all the vocal gymnastics they put into the star spangled banner at ball games. It's sufficiently complicated not to need extra frills. Just sing it! Check out this guy singing his own national anthem in French, German and Flemish! Pretty versatile guy.

It's not a coïncidence that this guy is Belgian. Our country is very underestimated, there's a lot of singing talent, Lotti is the best proof of it! ;-)
