So I've had this footage for a long time now and I've been so reluctant to post it, and then I thought - well, every other adult who has meltdowns probably will be too, so I've decided to release it. This was a few bits from a meltdown/panic attack I had because I'd lost track of time and I didn't haven enough time to make any food before my partner came home, I also didn't have enough money to buy anything. Trivial, maybe, but it tipped me over the edge and this was the result. I had set the camera up earlier and clicked it when I realised I was heading for a meltdown.
I know this isn't a bad meltdown, but it is still a meltdown, so here you go.
Me and my partner run a forum for people with Aspergers/High Functioning Autism/ ASD's in general (also people who know a person with an ASD). It's called Asperclick: http://www.asperclick.com
So if you'd like to sign up, please do so, and get chatting - but play nice! And it'd be great if you could share the link. :)
We don't currently have a mail box (we're looking into it), but there is a donations page which was set up to cover the costs of the forum. Don't feel any pressure though! Anything, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
As I've said before, I don't get paid to do this but I spend all day doing it! :D And as I have also mentioned before, I spend a lot of my own money on things like the forum etc.
So here is the donations page, if you are a member of Asperclick and you donate you will get a special coloured name :D If you only watch videos on here and decide to donate as a thank you (I'm not expecting you to, once again) but if so, then still go to this page as every little helps :)
If you could also check out my website, that would be great. I write a blog and some articles about Aspergers. I also sell some Autism Awareness products, as well as various other items featuring my artwork and photography. I also sell my books there too, the first book is full of poems and short stories, written whilst I was in the middle of a nervous breakdown. The second book is for children on the Autistic Spectrum, and is to help them understand sharing. My third book is about living with Aspergers Syndrome and will be out in March 2014.
Please head over and subscribe to receive my monthly newsletter, full of goodies that only subscribers see! Be sure to keep checking back for new stuff!
If it's not too much trouble, please share this video/like it and comment as well, (I do read them all even if I don't always respond, same goes for emails) it really helps me out!
Plus, you can head over to twitter and tweet me your thoughts/questions @willowhopepage
I'm always happy to help out with any projects which involve the Autistic Spectrum; I can do videos, interviews, artwork etc. so if you have something in mind, just contact me here to discuss it: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your continued support guys!
