Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Riding a Camel at the Treasury Building @ Petra, Jordan)

Petra is one of the New Wonders of the World. The impressive eastern entrance leads steeply down through a dark, narrow gorge (in places only 34 metres wide) called the Siq ("the shaft"), a natural geological feature formed from a deep split in the sandstone rocks and serving as a waterway flowing into Wadi Musa. At the end of the narrow gorge stands Petra's most elaborate ruin, Al Khazneh ("the Treasury"), hewn into the sandstone cliff.

one of the most incredible places i have ever seen. infact i was there last month. very taxing went all the way to Monastery climbing 800 steps. i was dead tired when i reached the top. incredible view of mount palestine. worth the pain.

How did you avoid the terrorists when you were over there? You do realize that they hate us for our freedoms and want to kill us? They want to impose Shariah Law on all of us and will swim across the Ocean to kill us if we leave Iraq. Their hatred of us has nothing to do with the fact that we install puppet dictators in their countries, so that our corporations can take all of their resources.
