Whether or not Iran wants to or in fact does create a nuclear weopon is of little consequence to us. There are a number of nations that have nukes and it doesn't make the world less stable than it is now. We need to mind our own business and spend tax dollars here rebuilding America. Vote for Ron Paul while you still have a chance to save the nation and repair relations with nations that we have disenfranchised. Jihad may come but our borders can be much more secure than they are now.

Why Iran is not working on Thorium reactors but instead on Uranium reactors? It is because an Uranium reactor may produce Plutonium for a nuclear bomb. A Thorium reactor cannot be used in military purposes. A preventive war is a way to stop dangerous regimes from development of nuclear bombs. If Iran will not stop, the only option is to bomb them into a stone age.

Iran does not have nuclear weapons because Saudi Arabia doesn't want them to, and Iran doesn't want to piss off the Arab League (Who might support Iran since Israel claims to be Jewish).

Yes, Iran is a highly motivated fighting force way worse than Iraq, since Iran has S-300's (their own) and Iraq surrendered, Iran won't. Because Iran's leaders can die, sure. Won't stop the army.

Also, Israel is hated by the USA.
