From 1974's Terminal Love. This video was done after his death for the promotion of the 1985 compilation Nirvana Peter. Note: The geniuses of copyright have removed the audio portion. Unfortunately they don't seem to realize this video only serves to raise awareness of Peter and help his posthumous sales. Music videos are ads after all; this was a free ad. If anyone knows anyone at Warner/Rhino, tell them to post the video on YouTube where it will be seen, and not on vhl.com where it languished until I posted it here: http://www.vh1.com/video/play.jhtml?artist=1261454&vid=47204

  • Why is there no sound?

  • @SoulQuest7 Read the video info...sound was stripped due to Warner Brothers'/WEA dispute with YouTube. Unfortunately it seems to have also disappeared from the VH1 site as well. All of which only hurts the recent reissuing of Peter's work on download and CD.

  • Click on "more info" for a link to the video at the VH1 website.

  • Thank you for the video, anyway...I hope those idiots could pick their copyrights and put that in...oh, let's not go down to their level...

  • Exactly! Any means to reach the depths of The Umberhulks. The recording industry is archaic destroying itself from the inside. What type of residual loss would Warner receive from having this on youtube?? You're not indicating any subliminal form to download the records that I can decipher. All your doing is bringing light to an artists/deceased that deserves it. Any way you equate it; curiousity equals monetary gain, how can someone not perceive that? What right do they have to begin with anyways

  • Pete Ivers wasn't shot, he was bludgened to death in his sleep.

  • Thanks for the info. Amazing how these companies like Warners can't understand that the goal is to get stuff heard however possible!

  • Peter Ivers was beat to death in his loft in LA..he was not shot.

  • They took away your sound :(

  • fuck youtube

  • I heard Peter Ivers got shot in front of his loft in downtown L.A. My older cousin, who's 57 now, told me he used to go to some gigs at Madame Wongs, the one in Chinatown, and also M.W. west. This show was great, and aired on Chanel 18 in the day, some Asian station.
