How about alcohol related deaths? Extremely preventable. Simply ban alcohol. After all, it's primary purpose is to impair the person drinking it.

The Australian government estimates that 3,000 people die per year of alcohol related causes. Based on the population of the country, that's 13.6 deaths per 100,000 people.

Firearm related homicides in the US are about 3.6 per 100,000. people.

Punish the 99% for the irresponsibility of the 1%. Makes sense right?

Yea...it was a shame when Sarah McKinley, who's husband died a week prior from cancer, shot a man breaking into her home that was armed with a 12-inch knife to protect herself and her newborn child.

What a tragedy that she had a weapon that she could DELIBERATELY kill someone with. She should have just let the two men rape her and hoped that was the end of it for her and her baby, huh?

Alcohol related deaths are double those of gun related deaths. 99% drink responsibly...should we ban it?
