This is the Footy Show that aired after Jim Stynes announced he had an aggressive and widespread form of cancer and that he'd be stepping down temporarily from the Melbourne presidency. Garry Lyon recounts how Jim Stynes told his friends the bad news. This is also the week there was a big push by Kevin Bartlett for Kevin Sheedy to coach the Richmond football club in 2010. And Mark McVeigh was sanctioned for staying out too late and missing training, and he's interviewed on the show about it.
