people are fucking retarded. First of all it's not dangerous. The field which is being produced is nothing stronger than the earths magnetic field.
Second of all, Tesla was the inventor of this. It's called: Resonant inductive coupling. The only way for a device to be powered is if it's using the same resonant frequency as the transmitter.

FAraday detect induction Stanley invented the trafo and tesla free electricity but nobody can help to the world to make free energy in any places.
-
Faraday detected induction and William Stanley 1885 invented the transformer. Tesla has nothing to do with it.

Lol, these reporters have no clue that induction type power transmitters wastes a lot of energy and their transmission distance is very very limited.

It may be inductive power b, but its is still power . As sasnightcrawler said , the electromagnetic field that are created in this video aren't very healthy . And those fields are still "low" power ones , if we want to power a tv with wireless power , we would have some amps flying :s

In 1824, Faraday briefly set up a circuit to study whether a magnetic field could regulate the flow of a current in an adjacent wire, and couldn't. In 1831, he began his great series of experiments in which he discovered electromagnetic induction. Tesla demonstrated wireless energy transmission as early as 1891. The Tesla effect is the movement of energy through space and matter, not just the production of voltage across a conductor.

@ironmonkidragonsclaw Inductive charging has been there for years and is being used at shorter distances. This time they have increased the distance and are doing wonders.

@aulshuwaier very true, the energy is like a microwave oven, i have to explain in layman's terms for most on here, the waves vibrate some of the electrons in the brain and it literally cooks your brain. Look at the phone towers, after all the health warnings about them, they have soon shut up about it. Even wires under your floor boards and through the house are creating electromagnetic fields. The technology we should be creating now is low voltage equipment, near to the static end.
-
If the magnetic field in mobile phones is dangerous, how it's not in that technology?
If they didn't show it as a safe tec. they wont able to market it.
We have to think twice before we drag into there commercial trap.

Here come the capitalistics crooks. Make it yourself dont buy.
Magnetic induction was discovered by Faraday, not tesla. Why dont you tesla fanatics get an education.

You are seriously misinformed.
Geostationary satellites are 22,000 miles up. Because they are solar powered the TX power per beam ranges between only 50 - 150 watts. (about the same as a household light bulb).
The reason you can't receive a satellite TV signal with anything less than a parabolic dish with a low noise block down converter is due to the inverse square law, the signal is extremely weak by the time it travels 22,000 miles, in the microwatt range. That wouldn't power an LED!
