Smoking Generator

What's up with this generator? It was at a fair and all of a sudden started smoking. No one seemed overly concerned. It was powering the entire fair as far as I could tell. On the front of the generator it said GHP 150KW-R. I was half expecting it to blow up.

suprisingly enough, diesel is excessively cleaner that regular gasoline. Even though the smoke is clearly visable, it is significantly easier to refine, and is much more cleaner burning.

THE FUCKING THING IS OVER LOADED!!

it amazes me to see how dumb people can be its not the fuel its not the oil it has to many things running off it at once it cant keep up

The smoke is white, what mean it has nothing to do with too much fuel dose and/or stuck turbo (it would be black). And with well set injection pump (the max dose limit) the engine would never smoke on steady overload.

I would guess the sealing between the head and block of the engine blew up, what let the coolant enter the cylinder.

Or bad sealing in the turbo let the oil enter the hot exhaust passage...

But these fault may be the consequence of prolonged overheating due to long time overload.

i think this gen set is distributing power for the amplifiers when the bass kikcs the amp need more power to push the speaker to pump the bass....... its normal...... dont be stupid on your comments

overloded and it looks like its been used alot so it probably needs a rebuld and on top of that its diesel so it will smoke BLACK wenh overloaded ... try replacing hed gaskets it looks like its not burning all the fule ... if so thats ur problem
