Beat Haldimann is a rising star on the Swiss watchmaking scene. His introduction of the H1 --a central flying tourbillon-- at the AHCI exhibit during the 2002 Basel Fair caused a sensation The tourbillon cage is 16.8 mm with a large balance of 14.4 mm.

  • @FishBowl911 A tourbillon helps maintain time more accurately. With regards to Beat Haldiman, he fitted it into a watch case for the sole purpose of aesthetics. Cool idea. Very expensive watches.

    This is the most beautiful of objects for me at least! I would be afraid to ask the cost, and anyway, it was once said, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it!". LOL!

    If I was a footballer with a million pounds as pocket money, then perhaps that is to whom these and other similar types of watch, really as 'art pieces' are aimed?

  • Very beautiful and ultra rare art work but unfortunately, only few person in the world can own Haldimann watch. Hopefully one day in my life time, I can see his watch!!!
