This is an upload for all you keyboard lovers or progressive music lovers.

Some of you may know Rei from Oriens pretty well, he is one of the most lovable orchestra arranges in the touhou business, unfortunately his album in the previous event, and by that I mean Comiket 77, was very different, the album's name was Passion Blossom, and what I mean by "different" is cutesy vocals and J-pop stuff, something that I really wasn't expecting from Rei. Well, since then I hoped for Rei's "revival" of the sorts, and on came Reitaisai 7, with a new release by Rei.

Without hearing a crossfade, I had my fingers crossed, and I must say that I am very pleased. The album contains a mix of his new "experimental" work, and some of his older classical work, like those orchestras we love. But as you can tell, this isn't from the classical, but the experimental side, it seems Rei got a new keyboard and wanted to try his hand at it. And I must say, he is totally awesome at it.
The unique thing that is missing here to make it "progressive rock" are the guitars, but well, Rei is a classical guy, so maybe he just wants to stick to this style. Hey, there's even a piano interlude here.
No complaints here.

But then again, this song might really be a bit esoteric, meaning that well, it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but hey, it's still enjoyable, nonetheless.

Btw, I totally love the original song, at first I thought it was a bit of a Hellfire Mantle ripoff (they do share some similar melodies) but well, they are still potentially very different, each fitting for their corresponding levels. And Shou really is quite awesome, with themes such as these.
