Like small towns everywhere Ontonagon may soon become another ghost town. Ontonagon is a beautiful town with low crime inexpensive housing and where children still play without fear.

Residents traditionally work as loggers, miners and mill workers. They are hard workers and their creditentials are excellent. Many workers have 20-30 and yes, even 40 years work experience.

The interviews are real people who want to stay and live Ontonagon and they are asking for your help in keeping the town alive. As you will here, all they need are businesses to look at the possibilities Ontonagon has to offer.

  • It appears that it is more economical to ship trees to china and ship paper back, the paper industry is dead. Mills are closing everwhere, unfortunately for Ontonagon Area that was the last industry left .
