@twa525 While I can say that I could have shortened it, I can also say that it's perfectly fine the way it is. It'd be like cutting any guitar or bass sustain. In the long run, it doesn't make since to shorten it.
@twa525 True. But this was sent in to be on Rock Band long after it was recorded for the video, and "cutting off a few seconds" would have added a whole other level to the export process. The original was recorded for a video, and that beginning part was planned to be used somewhere in the video. It never fit in right, so we never used it, but it was still there.
@twa525 I'm not sure what you mean by unnecessary, then. The charted note is as long as the played note, possibly even shorter (but cut off when the note gets quiet enough)
@BongOfDestinySH When authoring this song, I asked the same thing. However, there's a few things to consider:
a) As ATalkingFish mentioned, all it does is speed up. It really isn't a big rock ending like in "Let There Be Rock" by AC/DC.
b) The part is rather short, and it wouldn't be a satisfying BRE IMO. I'm not saying they should all be ungodly long, but at least 10 seconds on my book.
@GigakoopsRBN *sense
You moron!

@ATalkingFish The end of the keys solo.

@GigakoopsRBN Along with the fact that there is no "end note" to finish it off, it kinda just stops.

@twa525 can you be more specific? Which hold note?
ATalkingFish 2 months ago
The hold note at the beginning is unnecessary.
