A result comparison of bare bone Canon 15x zoom and 2.2x Raynox tele-converter 15x zoom. Other thoughts, ND filter could be helpful to lower luminous level, still too bright under maximum 1/2000 shutter speed. Filming the moon on the horizon could is a better way to film the moon in a much shorter distance.

  • you need to reduce your aperture as well, and perhaps even auto gain (iso), or use spotlight setting, or adjust exposure to (-) negative a couple of stops.

  • does the tele converter affect the image quality?
