is not a shit my friend, is in fact in some points better than the original. For example, this are more longer and have more scenes for explain some plot holes of the bela lugosi version, second the production is complety superior, i now i edit this movie and some scenes are much better than the other vercion, the cast is quite good but the biggest fail is the act of carlos villarias, he is very irregular, some times he is great some other hilarius.

The Spanish crew had the advantage of watching the dailies from the English crew's version when they came in for the evening and they would figure out better camera angles and more effective use of lighting in an attempt to "top" it. @edgarivanrivero I agree with you. If Lugosi was in it and Edward Van Sloan who was Van Helsing, this one would be the best by far. I love the fog in this one and the lighting.
