Gracie fields makes me laugh. She was a born comedienne. I have seen this film many times. Best thing too is musical arrangement by Carroll Gibbons. Gracie was a natural around the stage and injected confidence and morale to a depressed Britain in the 1930s. Lost talent. Her monologues are so daft and we in Lancashire still hail her.
