By the legendary Live Skull, New York 80s postpunk noise band as good as Sonic Youth and Drive Like Jehu. Filmed by Greg Fasolino.

  • Awesome! So over-looked and under-rated. Was only playing Bringing Home The Bait and Cloud One the other day. Still sounds fresh as they did in the mid-80s

  • Incredible band, great song - thanks for the uploads !

  • If I had to choose to go live on the Live Skull island, or the Sonic Youth island, I would pick the Live Skull island......

  • Truly one of the best post-No Wave bands to come out of New York in that era.

I felt they were better than Sonic Youth in so many ways, though i'm sure they got very tired of being compared to them. It really angers me that they received no mention in that pile of dung movie Kill Yr Idols. That in itself was criminal to ignore a band as great as this but feature bands like Gogol Bordello (*Barf*), Black Dice, A.R.E. Weapons, & Yeah Yeah Yeahs instead.....

  • @dannon2010 i remmebr meeting james lo at a club when he was playing with some rather ordinary band and i mentioned how much i missed live skull and he said sonic youth were better and just kinda walked away......i figured, later, he might've not liked the fact that i was reeking of the skunky stuff....lol.

  • I loved this band. Saw them in Houston, Texas at the Axiom, but unfortunately it was after James and Marnie had left. I love Come and Uzi, but I wanted the line-up that I had grown accustomed to. I had heard James went to medical school...lets hope he's half the doctor that he was the total drummer. I think it was Mark C and his girlfriend came and spent the night at my house. They were so gracious and nice and friendly, willing to talk. I was so excited as a 19 year old, as they my fave.

  • Wow, Greg, incredible work.

  • Fck'g Brilliant band - All involved - the guitars, bass, & the drummer is awesome!!

  • awesome
