Condor Spliting Axe http://amzn.to/A9ha5L

Joe Flowers of Equip 2 Endure shares some tips and tricks in reference to using a splitting axe or maul. Although the are heavier and more cumbersome, they can be a lot safer then thier smaller hand sized counter part. Axe skills take many years to masters, so please train with these techniques under the watchful eye of someone with some axe experience. • Golf swing! That is horrible advice. Taking the time to pick up the piece and letting the weight of the ax, with a guiding hand, split the smaller pieces will save far more energy. Not to mention it is safer. Swinging the ax and slowing it down wastes a lot of energy.

  • @jeepzillajoe People are getting way to soft these days. that isn't safe, you aren't wearing safety glasses, you aren't wearing gloves, blah blah blah. This is the problem those that can do. Those that can't sit around and whine about how it was done.
