@thenintendogamer That trade helped the Rockets get past the Sonics in 1997. If that trade doesn't happen, the Rockets end up losing to Seattle because they really frustrated Hakeem with excessive double and triple teams and their illegal defense (zones). Barkley helped take pressure off of him and helped the rebounding as well. But, that trade hurt the Rockets in the 1997 WCF against Utah because they had to start rookie Matt Maloney who got owned by Stockton.

Maybe the only entertaining Clippers team in their history. Manning, Jackson and Ron Harper with Larry Brown as HC.

With Larry Brown as coach he made the Clippers respectable team.Even though they lost at least they put a up a good fight.Let's face it they may have been a good team but CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL?! AT LEAST THEY PLAYED HARD AND WITH PRIDE WHAT MORE CAN YOU GET FROM THE CLIPPERS?

can you image how many championships houston could have won if the rockets where able to keep otis thrope plus still get clyde drexler and than on top of that if verron maxwell could have had a good head on his shoulders i am thinking the rockets and bulls would have had a few classic nba fianls match ups.

It's a shame Vernon couldn't co-exist with Clyde. Would have been a good backup for Clyde for a couple of years.

kenny smith is a dumb ass. he's celebrating like they won the finals. you should be ashamed to go to the final game of a series against any clipper team in the 90's.
