Dover Motorsports, after closing Memphis Motorsports Park in the fall of 2009, decided to dispose of the facility by holding an auction. Held in a garage building in the circle track infield, the real estate portion of the auction was over in about five minutes. According to the Memphis Daily News, the high bid by investor Joe Lubeck was accepted with closing to take place within 30 days.
@Z0SICK123 The offer was accepted and all indications are that the facility will reopen Spring 2011.

I hope this guy actually pays for it or the auction will actually let it go. I miss MMSP.
