Mixgreat, Journey and some other bands do not exist only with the leadsinger (ex leadsinger), because there are also other musicans. Neal Schon is also a very big part of Journey.

Arnel Pineda is for me a great singer and one of the best live performers, which I've ever seen. Can't judge on the live quality of Steve Perry, because I've never seen him.

PS: If, you don't like Journey without Steve Perry, why do you watch these videos???

AP is not and will never be SP..He is his own person..He may not be as great as SP, but he's really good, and people are digging it (including me)..

If you don't like Journey w/out SP, then don't watch these vids if all you're going to do is bad mouth the new singer..

And AP has a phenomenal voice, may not be as good as Perry but still phenomenal.. try singing all these songs, let's see if you can even hit a right note..

Let's just all be happy that Journey is still here and rocking..

Perry was the first Journey Karaoke singer when he karaoked the original compositions of the ORIGINAL Journey Lead singer Robert Fleischman. Songs like Anytime, Wheel in the Sky and 2 other songs I believe. He The Beatles karaoked the songs of Black singers and so did Elvis and the Stones as per your argument. Do some research next time. :)
