  • great looking project tractor. Did you do any longevity testing on how long the batteries last doing work? Looks like there is room on the tractor to add a few more batteries. What speed is the electric motor spinning at? I'm assuming the gearing between the electric motor and bell housing is a reduction unit. What kind of reduction is it running?

  • @whspioneer89 The motor turns about 1750 RPM and it is a 3 to 1 reduction out of a THM 700r-4 GM transmission. We should have used a 2 to 1 and got a little more speed. The tractor will work about 2.5 hours before the voltage drops to 33 volts. Then it is time to charge the batteries. Allen 215@aol.com for more info.

  • I definitely like the Farmall H at 1:20 better than that Allis.

  • @DumbBassBob

2.5 hours is not too shabby, will take care of most small jobs on a small farm, short of actual field work.

What is the recharge time though ?
