The conflict between Armenian forces and Azerbaijan, from 1988 through 1994, resulted in the displacement of about 1 million people. The conflict caused massive destruction of social infrastructure and productive resources, and a large area of the country was contaminated with landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO).
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) was established to oversee all mine and UXO issues.

UNDP and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) are working together to develop national capacity for mine action. The programme has enabled the clearance of landmines and unexploded ordinance (UXOs) in accessible war affected areas. A recent Landmine Impact Survey allows ANAMA to prioritize its activities for maximum impact on poverty reduction and socioeconomic development.

  • Ow man, relax, just get a life.

  • Though they're not a military organization, the training to be a Ranger is tough and they're very critical in their pickings, but if you honestly want to help, then I'd say its worth a shot. At the very least, you could donate to one of the many free Burma organizations and help bring aid to these people. God bless, and know that you're life is truly precious in the eyes of God and those you can help.

  • The Rangers go deep into the Burmese jungles and help deliver food, supplies, and provide medical care to the different ethnic groups persecuted by the SPDC (the government of Myanmar). They also teach villagers first aid and how to remove mines (Burma/Myanmar is said to be the country with the most active landmines in the world).

  • I don't really support suicide, but if you're serious about helping others in the face of danger, why not contact the Free Burma Rangers

and see if they'll accept you. The Free Burma Rangers are a special group of highly trained humanitarian volunteers who travel through out Burma helping the displaced minorities suffering from a state (Myanmar government) sponsored act of genocide against the ethnic minorities.

  • how to get into a job like this because i have nothing to loose in life trust me instead of killing myself i can atleats make somthing out of my death. can pls some one give me some info about getting to do this job.
