Latest poem remix. Music: Portishead's "Biscuit" (from Dummy, 1994)
"Bluescreen"
Welcome to the world of dementia/beneath the mask so frail/speak the truth/not what light reveals/but what you can find/what is your fate?/the landscape of your dreams/
fears/you want to be free from others/you want to be free of conviction/what is this sense of creation?/raining in our subconscious/to conceal the blood of our fathers and mothers/betrayals of the heart and lustful tongue/in a ever expanding bluescreen called humanity/state of frequency beyond reality..." by gab3334 An ode to college radio days under the pseudonym, "8 and a half." Inspired by in part from the "Ancient gold mask of Agamemnon (1580-1500 B.C.)"
Thank you Drake for that clarification - stolen is a good word and I guess the only saving grace is a music admirer like myself (no doubt yours as well) is that we learn of greater artists from yesterday. Certainly Johnny Ray is one of those. I hope he's been compensated for the timeless music samples. God bless.
