With the latest patch to Spore (5.1 if I'm not mistaken) we can now export our creatures into a .dae Collada file that allows us to import the models into our favorite 3d modeling programs such as Blender (what I use), Maya, and 3ds Max.

The details can be found here:

  • Isnt that Bowser at 1:30 ?

  • @ultrachance850 Indeed it is.

  • @KCDjedi dude it looks like a Spore Movie :3

  • @shoona101films You COULD make a movie with this, easily, if it weren;t for copyright issues associated with using Spore creatures as models. Because EA/Maxis owns the individual parts that make up the creature.

  • Will this work for buildings?

  • @0SmooK0

    I wish, but no.
