  • No doubt .... Aziz Mian was the Shehanshah-e-Qawwali of all times. I am totally unspeakable before his command over the subject of philosophy and Islamic Teachings

  • great ghazal of all time by ustad aziz mian.welldone Geo

  • Offence Not Taken.

  • I think you don't appreciate the value of being a Muslim. Also you don't seem to have sound knowledge on this subject as well.

  • Well brother, who says music is not permissible??? Is it decleard Haram anywhere in Holy Koran? Any Hadith of Holy Prophet(SAW) with a strong source, against it?

Anti-music beliefs in Islam 're the creation of Molvi mind.

  • Walakum-As-Salam

With your due respect, I can see why there is a feeling of awe with Qawwali since many hindus were converted in the beginning to Islam. But if Qawwali is permissible how come music is not permissible when similar instruments and lyrics are employed?

  • Brother, we all 're connected to same source just through different branches. In all the human history people 've been trying meditation or going in trance, just to feel that source. In Islam the Sufi faith provides different tools including Qawali to go at such level.

I believe Qawali takes you closer to the ISHQ and without ISHQ there is no worship. For people like me it's part of worship.

    As Salam o Alaikum.

  • I would like to disagree with you when you said Qawwali is part of the worship. Your faith will be in danger if you think its part of the worship. On the other hand I agree with you that the opinion of contemporary sufis is missing which would further enlightened the view on Qawwali.

  • NUSrat FATAH khan the greatest singer /qawal
