Free Speech Advocates Banned from House of Commons

OTTAWA, October 17, 2007. This afternoon, by unanimous consent, the House of Commons past a motion banning free speech activists Alexan Kulbashian and Paul Fromm. Director of the Canadian Association for Free Expression from the House of Commons. The ban was put in place to thwart a press conference scheduled for Friday at 1:30 in the Charles Lynch Room of the Parliamentary Press Gallery.

Hansard records: "By unanimous consent, it was ordered, 'That this House order that Alexan Kulbashian and Paul Fromm be denied admittance to the precincts of the House of Commons during the present Session to preserve the dignity and integrity of the House.'"

"MPs have acted with stunning arrogance and disregard for free speech," Fromm charged. "After all, it's we taxpayers who foot the bill for this place. It's not their private little club. 'Parliament' from the French parler (to talk) should be a place of talk and free exchange of ideas, not of the sort of suppression more in keeping with the thuggish generals of Burma," he added.




"Our research shows that only five people have ever been banned from the House of Commons," Mr. Fromm explained. "The first was Louis Riel who led an armed rebellion against the Dominion Government in the 19th century. The other four were critics of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Controversial publisher Ernst Zundel and his lawyer Doug Christie were banned from the precincts of the House of Commons in 1998 when they sought to hold a press conference to complain that the Canadian Human Rights Commission does not consider truth a defence against charges of hate."

Canada will become like the countries immigrants are leaving, then where do we go?

Policy dictates countries of origin when it comes to immigration. A shift in policy is what is needed to curb the current immigration trend that threatens Canada's identity. There is plenty of room for skilled, quality immigrants (like your family) as long as it doesn't affect Canada's common thread.

yup the title of this video describes HITLERISM to me. vote ABC it also shows harper will not ever give us canadians a clear answer until he filters out the questions. All of Harper's answers are very well rehearsed to sway the masses. Believe it or not. Dion on the other hand will try to answer whatever kind of question in front of anybody at anytime. I've met Mr. Fromm and Mr. Kulbashian, and both of them are good guys who are speaking on behalf of the majority, something that is taboo in Canada.

They really are victims of the Canadian government's tyrant reign over freedom of speech.

It's honorable of the Asian community to support White civil rights in regards to their heritage, and they usually do.

It seems that East Asians are very sympathetic to our situation, more so than any other race.

white people are branded racist for taking pride in their culture. Multiculturalism is a myth, Canada lets in huge numbers of non-assimilated non-english speaking immigrants which causes social problems, crime, gangs. As these immigrants are in such huge numbers from the same place they have no need to assimilate, the cities that they populate end up being like the countries that they've left. Bottom line is the canadian culture is gone and they will become a minority in their own country.
