Merlin and Arthur's relationship is the keystone to this show. Bradley is so amazing for just putting it out there that it is the most important of the two. Not to undermine Gwen, but Merlin and Arthur have been through battles, quests, a ton of thwarted plots ageist Camelot, as well as spending a lot of free time together. They are Brothers in Arms. Constantly being there for each other. To me Gwen does come off as fickle in many things.
