This recording was done on 17 January 1928 (by Victor) and never released on 78 rpm. It was an alternative take to the one which WAS released; both were recorded on the same day.
The other take is very famous and you can find it on numerous youtube posts, just search 'ponselle pace 1928' (or check the video responded to).
This take to my ears though, is even better than the 'official' release. Listen to her pianissimo Bb on the 'invan la paaaaace'. It is one of the most amazing sounds I've ever heard.

Pons was right! I think it was Pons who used to say that she was half a Ponselle or visa versa.
