  • Does coffee come in mini-kegs, Coach Abel? Very refreshing guys. BTW, here's a thought for a segment: R.A.W: Reality At Work

  • @kofasetic Good title, we'll consider it. As for the coffee, the way Coach Weiss, drinks the stuff, you think it would! LOL

  • You're Both Influential Champions in my mind! Extreme blessings coach Wiess, well deserved!

  • @djh9595 If your missing the lift at the top then I would suggest some rack pulls from just below the knees. Also some upper back assistance work like band pull aparts, face pulls, shrugs, and bent over laterals.

  • @Happyfamilylee Well then i would say my first advice applies. train beltless, and back off the load for about 8 weeks, and work other variances of that plane and range of motion that deadlifts demand

  • @scottabelcoaching Thanks for the reply coach! I'm just worried that the belt is compensating for my weaknesses due to a 20lb difference in my squat max when using the belt compared to not using it. I'm aiming for raw power lifting, since I feel it'll have more carryover in other activities.

  • @djh9595 Yes that is a hard one to pinpoint for sure. There can be some transfer exercises of use, but hard to call from what you describe.

  • Looking forward the the discussion.

Any chance of seeing Kevin's lift on Youtube?

  • @djh9595 it would really depend on what is holding you back. I general I would say find out where you are missing the lifts when the weights get heavy and then address the weak link in the chain. Technique flaws and other issues become more apparent the heavier the weight gets but fixing the problem does not always mean using max weight.

  • @Happyfamilylee I would say its a good idea to use your belt on your ME days for safety sake. Also if you are lifting equipped it is a good idea to getting used to using your equipment so I see no reason not to wear your belt on your heavier sets.
